Hidden Pearls Hijab Review

Hello Everyone!

I hope all of you are having an awesome weekend so far!

As most of you might already know, I’m a hijabi which means I cover my hair and try to dress modestly. I’ve been on the look out for new scarves for a while now which are:

a) Really good, quality wise;

b) Require little to no ironing;

c) Provide ample coverage

I looked up a few shops online but either they were out of the colours I wanted or didn’t quite meet what I was looking for. Luckily, I came across Hidden Pearls, a UK based scarf store. They have a huge variety of scarves (both formal and casual) and scarf accessories (under scarves, hijab pins and more). They also have a huge collection of gifts to choose from for your loved ones. I’m so tempted to get my hands on a few of the gift sets (throwing major hints at Saad since he reads my posts too…hehe!).

I have collaborated with Hidden Pearls for a little surprise for you at the end of this post! For the purpose of this review, I was asked to select two scarves of my choice so I selected one Maxi Chiffon Hijab in navy blue for everyday wear and one Crochet Lace Hijab in dusty pink for formal occasions. I also chose this one because it looked like it’ll match perfectly with a formal outfit I have that needed a matching scarf. I received the scarves and I must say that I’m really pleased with both of them.

The navy blue Maxi Chiffon Hijab is perfect for everyday wear because it doesn’t require ironing at all (that’s the best thing about chiffon) so I can just wash it, dry it, wear it and step out. It’s perfect for travelling as well as you don’t need to go around looking for an iron. It’s really manageable as a headscarf and creates beautiful drapes plus it goes with a lot of my dresses as I wear the colour blue a lot! Since it’s a maxi hijab I can opt for any hijab style without compromising on coverage.

The Crochet Lace Hijab is absolutely beautiful. I’m still surprised at how perfectly it matches with the outfit I needed a scarf with. The fabric is lightweight, super soft and breathable which makes it perfect for summer days which is like 80% of the year here in Karachi. The fabric also creates gorgeous drapes once it’s wrapped as a hijab.

Here’s the outfit I was talking about earlier, matches perfectly, doesn’t it?

All in all I’m really pleased with the quality of the scarves offered by Hidden Pearls and I’ll be ordering more in the future in’sha’Allah. They offer international shipping and as for the surprise…they’ve graciously offered a 15% discount to my readers if you use the discount code lilacprose15. So go ahead, get a few new scarves for yourself or your loved ones! Happy Shopping! ^_^

These scarves were sent to me for review by Hidden Pearls but all opinions are as always, my own.

    1. They are really pretty, masha’Allah! 😊

      Hehe! I try to giveaway a few old ones before purchasing new scarves, clothes, etc. They’ll be new to someone else and this allows me to upgrade my wardrobe at the same time! 😊

  1. The fabric and style of both hijabs are gorgeous. I love the navy blue chiffon hijab (you can never wrong with chiffon) and the pink lace is so pretty.
