Freeman Clay Mask Mint & Lemon Review 2

Freeman Clay Mask is a detoxifying clay mask enhanced with Mint and Lemon Extract to help soothe and calm problematic skin. It helps control oil production and reduces the appearance of large pores. Perfect for T-zone and oily skin types.

My thoughts:

First a little bit about my skin…it’s definitely on the oily/combination side during summers and that’s when I tend to reach out for this clay mask the most. Depending on how my skin feels at the time, I either use it all over my face or just on my T-zone, that is my forehead, nose and chin. I also sometimes use it as a spot treatment to dry out any occasional zits that tend to show up right before a special occasion pretty much EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Seriously, what’s up with that? I can’t be the only one facing this right? Right.

Anyhoo…I feel like this mask really helps dry up excess oil on my face and help dry up zits faster. So yeah…that pretty much makes me a fangirl of this product! Moreover, it’s cruelty-free as well as free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates and mineral oil and I’m all up for junk free beauty so need I say more as to why I love this product so much? ^_^

Like most other Freeman products, Freeman Clay Mask Mint and Lemon is packaged in a tube, which is pretty convenient. The mask itself is mint green and like any other clay mask, quite thick and fairly easy to apply. I just take some on my finger and little by little apply it to the desired area avoiding the delicate eye area, wait for it to dry up and then wash it off. As mentioned on the package, I wouldn’t recommend using this product more than twice a week as it could get too drying for the skin otherwise. In terms of the fragrance, it does resonate the mask as it’s quite minty and lemony, you can definitely tell that by the scent but it’s not overpowering or anything like that. It also doesn’t linger on once it’s washed off.

Dries up excess oil
Helps dry out zits faster
Lasts a long time (quantity wise and expiry wise as well – 36 months)

Only available in supermarkets

  1. Thank you for sharing! I’m always looking for THE RIGHT face mask because I haven’t found one yet. I’m currently using one from Body Shop and although it’s good, it’s difficult to use. Maybe this one is the right one for me…

Yes, I steer clear from this product too during winters when my skin tends to be dry instead oily! I hope your friends enjoy this product! ^_^
